Besides Jenna and Aleu, Aniu is the one who is and was the most caring she-wolf in the Canyon clan, with all white fur all over her body and very lovely reddish eyes. She was also the guardian wolf of her son, Balto, and is now the guardian wolf of her dearest granddaughter, Aleu. She watches over Aleu's family in the wolf pack, partly Balto's in Nome, she was also an old friend of Nava, without a doubt the most beautiful she-wolf in all of northern Alaska.
