Very nice! Not only does it give a good view of pretty much regular life, but also a good view of how it's a world-wide thing and how it's handled in other parts of the world, and some nice local history to add to the explanation. Nice insight, I like it, learning a bit of lore is always exciting, or at least it is to me >^_^< And of course, how doesn't like gifts?
Glad you enjoyed it! I certainly enjoyed writing it.
I'm thinking that Thaelos, being the anime and manga enthusiast of the Cohort, might someday wind up collaborating with a mangaka (manga artist), relaying tales of the Cohort's various adventures in West Texas to be turned into manga adventures. :D

Beautifully done! I laughed several times at their reactions - especially to Cy's new outfit! The cultural reactions to the Change are pretty distinctive in this piece and I love how the various dragons (and staff!) reacted to what they found. I'll bet the Colonel is going to have a few bobble heads made of his favorite trouble-makers, just to bop them when they do something irritating!
Couldn't have done it without you! Thanks again for all the fantastic info you provided.
Oh, yes, you know he's going to have more than a few Thaelos bobbleheads (one on the desk, several spare in a drawer). I'll need to come up with some Americanized draping styles.... Maybe Hawaiian tropical print? :D
