A little anim he did of us body-swapped! I think I'll make this a kinda sorta formlock, I'm not gonna full on change the name or avatar like I say in the story. This is just gonna be a side thing! Thanks so much for CM for the animation and the idea~
Story:
Formlocking, the ultimate expression of "It's not just a phase, MOM!" The idea of formlocking is two characters body-swapping with each other for a set amount of time, or possibly forever. Jam and CM were currently experimenting with such a scenario!
CM stood awkardly on his new monkey paws and swished his tail back and forth, "Are you sure about this, Jam?"
Jam gave CM an earnest smile as he stood on all fours as his mane rustled in the wind, "Of course! We've swapped enough times that we can handle a year as each other."
The monkey scratched his chin, "I dunno! The thing about formlocking is that people usually switch their avatars and names, then everyone gets confused."
"Don't worry about that, this is a side thing! There will be no name or avatar switching and it's going to be an occasional art thing. So, a pic of us swapped every month or couple of months in new scenarios.
The monkey chewed on the stick of wheat in his mouth with a pout, "This is legit starting to feel like the Donkey and Puss In Boots swap from Shrek 3 if it was stretched out to a year in length."
The pony backed up and smacked his big hairy rear against the monkey's side, knocking him over, "You know it! Gotta dedicate myself to equine-ness for the Year of The Horse after all!"
"That's understandable, though what are you going to do for Year of The Monkey?"
"I mean that's in 2028, and I think for that year I'll just be King Louie or Diddy Kong or something. We'll figure it out when we reach that point!"
"Fair... Now what?"
Jam lifted his wings, "Wanna go for a ride monkey-man?"
"Okay, but no bucking me off this time!"
"I make no promises!"
Jam then took off with the monkey on his back, taking to the air as the two enjoyed being themselves for the foreseeable future. Who knows what new adventures they'll get up to as each other in 2026? Stay tuned for more!
