Maybe not the rest of the Vigils, but glad you liked this so much! It took a whole lot of effort to intertwine their origin stories in a way that felt satisfying. Originally, I just had separate flashbacks for both of them, but eventually I realised I could use Fu's story to tell Chunder's!

man, Fu and Typhoon have really tragic backstories, huh? especially poor Typhoon :0 i'm glad Master Fu was able to finally help him and set him on the path to becoming the hero he is now!
i love the expansions of the lore too! i can feel the effort you put into these, you should be proud!
and Chad's such a himbo i can't help but love him haha :3 Streak's had a pretty rough first night on the job though, huh? and his bickering with Falcon's as enjoyable as ever lol

Goodness, reading the finalized version is quite emotionally stirring, even with knowing and partly helping with this chapter!
Getting to know much more detail history of the setting in the process is wonderful, you've certainly been busy with fleshing it out just as much as the characters that live in it! Though I do wonder what adventures that Chunder and Master Fu had between their last meeting and the reunion in Beacon City... Ah, to know that much more of such impressive and experienced heroes, heh.
And despite the overall tone/narrative of this chapter, not to mention the previous one that factors into the last/present-day section of this one... It is amusing how it turns from emotionally heavy and uplifting to something out of a comedy with how Chad is trying, and failing, his persuasion checks.
