I've been itching to play around with a new silhouette style for a while now, and I've also had my eye on BingyBongo's (DeviantArt) yearly Brrrdcember drawing challenge since last year. Combining these two ideas was the natural end result. That said, my original goal was to draw the birds the regular way, up until 3 days before I was set to start the challenge. Then my brain had... other ideas.

Rambling aside, I'm excited to see how these little guys get received! If people like the style, there may just be more in the future.
