Another High School Digital Design Project. This was also my first time doing pixel art and I was super nervous about doing it as I struggle to create characters from scratch in any form. I don't remember where the idea came from but I was on a Lucario kick at the time and then I must have thought Pokémon for one iota and then it was settled.

To make this I first found an actual Pokémon background and down sampled it to fit my pixel grid. Then I found a picture of Lucario and did the same. I was nervous to have to make new crazy movements with Lucario so I kept it simple, then I looked up his attacks and saw "Bone Rush" and thought I could probably do that! I figured I could do some simple arm movements. I was and am really proud of how it came out! I really surprised myself.

This assignment was completed 6/1/2023, this one probably took six plus hours of work or so.. it's hard to remember. It was nice to have the hour of class to lock in for, I usually worked before class too (during lunch) so I got good continuous work sessions in and it really made it easier even though I had no experience before.

I put a watermark on this work because I feel like it has the potential to be ripped and turned into a gif to be cropped and sent around the internet. I feel very uncomfortable about that happening.
