The Face of the Green Herring Is Punk (2026)
Ever since I drew myself with my genderfluid aura in 2025, I've wanted to update my website's front-page graphic to use the punky outfit I gave myself in it. The outfit was designed in response to a livestream by SpoonyCatt where they offered critique on people's fursona designs, and I took their advice to heart designing it. Not only did I give myself an outfit better reflecting my status as a genderfluid punk artist, I darkened the reds in the outfit by one step to address the most significant problem found with the original: the default EGA dark green and light red become the same color when converted to grayscale. On New Year's Day 2026, after I got home from work, I decided to put my title graphic in my new outfit to ring in the new year!
The outfit was designed with the assumption of it fitting into all four of my configurations, so of course I was prepared to draw my outfit in each one of them (check them out on my site). I feel I succeeded with each version, and of course the result is spicier this time, to hint at the direction I planned to go in 2026. ;3 I'm quite happy with this one!
