Here's a temporary link for the Secret Santa drawing I received!

I participated in another Secret Santa event and here I present to you: My Secret Santa 2025 drawing! I was tasked to draw... Mienshao! My favorite Fighting-Type Pokémon. I can't stop winning.

A huge coincidence I get someone that requested Mienshao because it was their favorite Pokémon, and me, being the fighting noodle enjoyer I am, getting randomly selected their request to draw. It had the other participants surprised too, and me? I just felt right at home LMAO. Without a doubt the best request I could've been handed outta all of 'em! So now lemme talk about the drawing a lil'!

Well obviously it's Mienshao, the peak Pokémon introduced in generation 5. But each doodle has a little tag on them, and that's to indicate exactly what ideas my recipient asked for, and I'm glad they provided plenty of ideas, more of an excuse to draw more of my favorite noodly Pokémon! General form is up first, they wanted Mienshao in it's natural state, showing off it's flowy body. I tried to keep em as on-model as possible, which is pretty easy since I kinda already do that lol.

Wiggly, and strong body! This was actually the first pose I started working on and honestly one of my favorites, too! I know I captured the wiggly essence, and the strong body comes with how much force can come from the strike of its long fur whips, or even a fierce High Jump Kick! With a form like Mienshao, it can be both evasive and also force to be reckoned with!

Martial arts pose was another idea the recipient had and I will say this one was the most difficult outta all of them. All the perspective and foreshortening stuff haha. I had a lil' help from my friend with it but overall still liked how it came out!

COMPLETELY SILLY!! Really leaning into that crazy, ferret-like aspect, which I absolutely love that they requested this. (They sure do know their Mienshao) This one was super fun, and what's that? Me? Drawing a HUMAN?? Not once but TWICE??? What in the world... Yeah I had a lil' bit of trouble figuring out how to make Mienshao be super silly on its own so I needed to give it a vessel to work with, and that had to be a human I designed up! Catching falling snow in your mouth is a very childish activity, which worked perfectly for the idea! And it's Winter time, gotta represent the season (even if I HATE it)!

Last, but most certainly not least, an idea for Mienshao to be cuddling with their trainer. Well it's time to bring back the human lady again for this one! Because the idea simply called for it! I went with a cozy bed setting for this one to really emanate that cute, intimate moment between the two, heating each other up! I mean Mienshao's already cute, I just had to make it cuddle with a trainer LOL.

And that's it! Yet another fantastic event, and I'm glad I participated again. Honestly the thing I look forward to the most during Winter time. I hate the season, but this at least makes it worth tolerating. I'll post what I received from this event once the artist publishes it on their socials! In the meantime, Merry Christmas everyone!
