Six cast resin eyes (I finally got dry enough weather here in Florida that some came out right) painted flat. I personally like this style better than the 3-D "Follow Me" eyes, because it makes them look more like they have a realistic dimension inside the lens. "Follow-Me" Eyes always look like they're concave-- which they are-- and it throws me off.
And I'm sad, because there are hair-thin veins of metallic gold all through the purple cat eye that you can't see in any of the pictures. D= The camera just can't seem to pick them up.
Anyway, these six were just practice. This batch of resin cured with microscopic bubbles all in them, and I'm planning on switching to a more liquid resin so I can avoid that.
