Yes, like I said in my New Year picture, I'm in this pantomime that Belfort and Lupin are in!
It's Jack and the Beanstalk, and I'm playing the mysterious pedlar who buys Jack's cow Milky White not for money, but for something much more remarkable that will send him on an extraordinary adventure.
Kenzie (as the pedlar): "My good Jack, I sense that you are reluctant to part with this cow. Am I right in thinking that fine as she is, Milky White is more than just livestock to you?
Lupin (as Jack): "Yes, yes, Sir! She's like my dearest friend. If only you knew how... Wait, how did you know her name?"
Kenzie: "I am a man of many more talents than selling goods on the roadside, Jack. I see into others' hearts. I know their natures. I have travelled far and wide and seen things you would scarcely believe. That is why I offer you something for Milky White that is worth far more than mere money. Something worth a painful sacrifice."
Lupin: "What's that, Sir?"
Kenzie: "This jar... of magic beans." (Lupin gapes in amazement as a heavenly choir sings.) "These simple legumes contain more magic than in a good portion of the world put together. And they are guaranteed to lead the one who possesses them to wondrous fortune."
Tanne (muttering inside the cow costume): "Oooooh! Just you wait until we're out of this costume, fleabag! You and our milksop dandy brother are going to find out what would have happened to Abel if he had sisters instead!"
