i wanted to draw an old oc of mine last night, reune is a canine/dragon. i made him probably 10 years ago (and he has a bunch of design quirks that i used a lot and were also popular with furry designs at the time, like floor-dragger tails with small spikes) and did a bunch of badge trades right after i did a quick ref to get art of him, and then i lost interest in the character and his design lol. i only altered a couple things w his original design (his paw pads used to be gray and his ear fluff was brown for some reason? he also has a brown and black marking on his chest but it wouldnt have shown with the way his arms crossed over anyway. the darker graybrown markings were originally black and were a later edition to his ref that i hated so i never drew him with it again lol) so he doesnt really match the kind of things i do nowadays but it was fun to draw anyway

ill have to revamp his design eventually, itd be fun to bring him back, but i didnt really have any ideas as i was drawing. i tried a more coyote-themed reddish brown and cream design (still with the green highlights) but it just wasnt really doing it for me. ive been down with some crazy flu or something so i havent really been in the right headspace to be trying to think of fun palettes and markings lol
