Never one for the proper Covenant channels, D'rok comes from mysterious but humble beginnings. Starting life as an unknown, claiming to be the descendents of workers on a trade flotilla in the more lucrative reaches of Sangheili space. At the age of 28, he was rescued from Humans who had captured he and another Sangheili preceeding the literal days leading up to the start of the Hucov war. The Kig Yar pirates that captured him imediately sold the two off as labour to a mining company near the equator of Sanghelos. After paying off their work debts, the two escaped from the industrial company and went quickly into the military to much excitement.
D'rok, and the few bold enough to follow him, would prove themsevles quite capable in the tense situations they face in the war. Despite some of their members tendency to not place too much emphasis on the religious and finer morals of the Covenant, their performance has granted them the benefit of the heirach's blessing to perform as they have.
Through thick, thin, and everything in between: D'rok and his team have survived and fought through the entirety of the Hucov war, active from 2528 onward... Though with the cracks forming thoughout the Covenant State, there are those that question which side they will fight on should anything happen.
