A glossy lavender creature was recently located coming out of a local park. We were notified once rumours about "balloon dog people" walking around started to appear in online forums.

This one's biology defies explanation. His skin appears to have the same consistency as latex, and his body is capable of inflating and deflating. It is not yet known what will happen if he fully deflates, or what will happen if he gets reinflated. Several scans have confirmed that he has no muscles, bones or any other organs. He does not appear to need any food or water. What looks like his facial features are actually printed-on decals, though his decal patterns seem to animate.
Despite not having an actual mouth or vocal cords, he is capable of speaking English, and demonstrates a native level of fluency. He does not demonstrate fluency in any other known language, however.

Immediately after his capture, he started making unverified claims about his past. He claimed to be Koita, a local adult minikai who recently went missing, and that he had his old body anomalously stretched into a 'balloon dog' by another 'balloon dog'. He was unable to recall any other detail about whom transformed him, but he claimed it wasn't anybody he knew personally.
