Reworking a design for one of Vell's 7 liches. Since drawing humans is such a hassle to me, i reworked an old sketchbook doodle rather than drawing something new. Have a Solomon Nehara. Oldest of the Crows. Over 4000 years old now. Scholar and scroll maker from a time when paper was relatively new. Consumed by a quest to unravel the questions he had about a collection of stone tablets he was tasked with transcribing. Those led him to Vell. Thematic and visual inspiration drawing from ancient Sumaria, Islamic art and architecture and textile, and lost underground city that got built over with a newer city tropes. He is from a fantasy world and isn't too closely based on anything in particular, hopefully his visual language will continue to evolve and become more ornate and unique as I flesh out this expansive head world more.
