An old project I'd started on 5/26/2025 and left untouched since 6/4/2025. This was part of a pre-word for the book that I am writing, to explain what an Avali is and is like. I also want to include a short page of explanations since some references I make go deeper than just how they look.
Using blender to position my character was interesting as I tried to adhere to the circles of the artwork. Having them in 3D space helped but I still ended up with two rings since I could not stretch the models legs any further- which would have allowed me to encompass the wings as well. I figure that in an Avali version of this artwork; the wings and tail would have their own conforming circle. I figure that in a society of Avali these would be considered an extension of their extremities that they don't directly use to interact with their surroundings. Which would be placed in a separate group- and therefore ring- from their direct methods of interaction of their claws and talons.
