The July 11th Incident (Snyderbro to General Eiling TF)
On July 11th, 2025, Superman premiered in theaters to a positive critical reception and a box office success. However, there have been reports on some theaters facing a boycott from a group of Snyder fans demanding for many things, to cancel the Superman premiere, fire James Gunn, and restore the Snyderverse.
One in particular gained notoriety after one of the people behind the group had just come out of a laboratory for illegal experimenting. Due to stress and anger, the fluids that were put inside of the man began to flow inside his body, causing changes to his DNA and would result in him transforming into a hulking orc-like monster hellbent on destroying Superman, despite him being a fictional character. Law enforcement had attempted to capture the creature, only for him to successfully escape. His whereabouts are unknown. Since the incident, some people have stated that the creature looked and sounded very similar to General Eiling from the DC cartoon Justice League Unlimited. This is further proven by a comparison between his mid-transformation (the only picture captured during the incident) and an image of Eiling taken from Google.
No comments have been made by either David Zaslav or James Gunn regarding the incident, and the laboratory has since closed its doors, though not by choice.
I've been wanting to draw General Eiling for a long time. I've considered drawing my own take of him, but after a while I've decided my style doesn't exactly work for him. I'll probably do a normal drawing at some point, but I figured I could do a TF drawing of him since nobody has done it before (mainly due to how very little attention he receives). I don't know how people will feel of me making art which pokes fun of the Snyder cult, or any toxic fandom, but I do recall someone making a TF sequence of a homophobe turning into a gay jock, so who knows. Either way, this was a silly idea, and getting to draw him was fun to do. I tried to emulate Bruce Timm's artstyle and I think I did very well. He serves as a huge inspiration of my art style to this day.
