Original description: "Sam's crush, Onyx, came to play cards with Virgil, but heard something odd in the other room. However, they didn't find anything, so they soon went back to their game."
And last to be introduced, Onyx Lofío. Their design was soon adjusted (mainly making their head less round and adding the gradients), but other than that, everything about their personality/history was planned from the start.
And yeah, this was their dynamic for the first few years: Sam has a crush on Onyx, but hides it, her inflation hobby, and her magic from them. It was only recently that I broke through it and got them together.
I've finally decided to stop posting art on Twitter, so I'm gonna repost more art here. Starting with the series that introduced Samena and co.: Airborne August 2022, another series of 30 prompts!
