A free mansion as a prize sounds too good to be true, especially if you never entered the contest to win it. But our cowardly hero, Luigi, sets off to claim the prize after hearing his brother Mario winning the same prize, but never returning. Now he's got to explore every nook and cranny of a haunted mansion filled to the rafters with all sorts of ghosts. Fortunately, after meeting the eccentric scientist, Professor E. Gadd, Luigi's armed with the powerful Poltergust 3000, which is capable of capturing any ghost. Can Luigi rescue Mario, or will he be lost in the darkness?
