Hello. This is me, Ronya, and my left hand drawing. You may be interested why and how I got to this point? Well, I will tell you.
For the last few years I have pains in wrist-thumb area. They start in 5 minutes after I begin to draw. I tried to give hand 2 week rest with no changes, so it is not just being tired of overworking.
So I went to the doctors. At first I thought it can be carpal tunnel syndrome, because many artists suffer from it. But on close inspection of neurologist it is not about that but some kind of growth between wrist-thumb bones. After that I went to orthopedist and they gave me 2 Kenalog shots into the wrist. Also gave me recepie for an orthosis that restricts movement of my thumb. Kenalog suppose to help remove constant inflammation that I apparently have. But while it works (minimum of 2 weeks) my wrist hurt much more and I am restricted to do anything with my right hand, nothing, just rest on a pillow in neutral position. If not, treatment be pointless and do nothing.
I am an artist and drawing is my bread and butter, I love to draw. So this situation is absolutely frustrating T_T Also I wanna crunch bones really badly but I cant! Thus solution was to try to draw with my left hand and this is how it looks like. Maybe I will have to learn to draw with left hand, but apparently it takes at least half a year with every day practice. We will see. For now my hand hurts and I have nerve lightning spike shots, you know, like when you hit your elbow badly. This should calm down with time and just be background pain. Hopefully in weeks or months my right hand will recover, but for now I am restricted to use it.

This turned out pretty good, and it is really good for the brain health to be able to do things with both hands. But yeah, it will take some time to get good, but I don't think half a year is needed but significantly less, especially with effort. I don't know how long it took to draw this, but I think it turned out very nice and it will only get better ~
It does suck about the hand though, I have some pains from work in some circumstances... perhaps I should see a doctor finally.
