As I get back into the groove of making art, I thought it'd be neat to remake an old piece from 12 years ago!

For this remake, I decided to make the scene a bit more wholesome while also removing the bullying aspect.

This time around, the story is that Kirara accidentally got lost on her way from school, but thankfully she ended up running into Zanene.

The lil tadpole boy is smart so he asks her to take his hand so he can take her to his parents house, since there they could call her parents, much to her relief, so now those are tears of gratitude!

Lore wise this is the first time they interact with each other, from there on they quickly became childhood friends, and as time went on, their relationship grew into life partners.

Zanene is serious, goal focused and very disciplined due to being raised by his father, a high rank soldier, so Kirara contrasts him by being more gentle and wholesome, their personalities end up complimenting each other greatly as they grow up!

I had a lot of fun making the sky and the background look a lot better and also include some neat light effects for the ambience!

I'm quite happy with the results! I hope y'all like it too!
