In January 2026, I had to take in my car for repairs and start taking the bus to my job, and thus I began using Pixquare for sketching during more of my downtime than before. Halfway through, I decided to do a full pic during during my bus rides and other waits, and furthermore do it for my phone cat Alex Graham. This time, having made it past the "I did this big picture on my phone!" stage of using Pixquare, I put the effort into Alex's detail and anatomy I normally do in my art, left more room in the palette for their shading, and put them in a proper background (well, proper for cyberspace, anyway) as opposed to a colorful abstraction. This work came with some noticeable changes to the character design, mainly the addition of eyelashes, the reduction of their fur coat, the extension of their warmers, and the replacement of the choker by placing the ribbon around their neck instead of their ponytail. These changes were made not only to clean up the design but to make them prettier, because that's what they'd want. :3
