Time for the next in my Favorite Video Game Series with number 13: Metroid

The bio-engineered, energy draining creatures known as Metroids are being produced en masse by the notorious space pirate leader Ridley and the space pirates for their own gains. It's your job as the intergalactic bounty hunter, Samus Aran, to infiltrate their base on planet Zebes, stop the space pirates and eradicate the Metroids. Doing such a feat is no easy task, which is why you'll need to find the scattered weapons and upgrades left behind by the Chozo, the alien race that took Samus in as a little orphan. Missiles, bombs, beam upgrades, grapple hooks, space jumps, even suit upgrades that prevent heat damage and even free movement in water. Are you up to the task of saving the galaxy?
