It's All About the Money (The Million Dollar Man's Theme)
While I won't be doing any more wrestling themes (at least for now), I went ahead and did this one because sometimes, the only to get something stuck in my head out of my head is to do an arrangement of it; it taught me a hard lesson about the concept of "garbage in, garbage out." In any event, this is my take on the theme tune for the now-retired professional wrestler, manager, and color commentator, Ted DiBiase, also known as the Million Dollar Man. Today, Ted is a Christian minister.
My arrangement is for saxophone quartet and piano. The soprano sax represents the spoken lines in the song, while the alto and tenor saxes represent the female vocals repeating the word "money."
