I thought it was about time I make my own borgs.
Storytime!
The one that came first, Crypt0. Originally created combining both Kira's robotics skills and Nir's engineering knowledge. This borg was an attempt to conceal an experimental AI, liberated by Kira, known as "the mother of personalities", one of the supposedly first successful fully sentient AI's, stolen off an archival storage and granted a second chance.
Unfortunately, shelved for a good reason, as despite Kira's best attempts to fix it, the positronic brain suffered a split personality disorder. Being host to not one, but 5 different personalities, completely unaware of each other. At least.. Until this borg encountered Null, who accidentally seeded just enough of his void corrupted nanites to initiate an unexpected "fixing". First assimilating all personalities into one, before repurposing the borg practically leaving just his shell, now serving as a disguise for what is practically a sentient nanite swarm, posing as a borg. Acting like one just fine.. At least until the nanite hunger takes over and his disguise falters.

DolphinProject who did an amazing job and was absolutely lovely working with <3
