Little is truly known about the mysterious Dr. Henry, including his full name, or even if “Henry” is his real first name. What is known is that he’s a brilliant scientist, one who studies the human mind and the nature of monsters in equal measure. He’s also part of a secret society of monster hunters and researchers that spans various key cities around the world, the same one whose Greek division was responsible for creating a chimera from a human girl, a project he voiced his displeasure with to no avail when he found out. On top of all this, he once experimented on himself and now has an enormous, violent alter ego known as Baron Ed, who’s becoming harder to keep at bay lately. Wanting to assemble a perfect investigative and combative force to get to the bottom of the recent strange global occurrences, Henry began reaching out to contact and entice others who could be classed as monsters and would be perfect additions to his team. It wasn’t long before he’d recruited quite the assortment — the experimental chimera girl, a demon huntress with demonic heritage of her own, a brilliant and powerful Russian witch, a recently resurrected pharaoh, a worldly and deceptively adorable cecaelia beloved by locals, a flesh golem seeking the truth, and a lonesome masked monster hunter who viewed himself as inhuman. Together, they’d spread out, seek answers, fight off threats to humanity, and hopefully put and end to whatever evil force was making itself known. All while the scientist does his best to keep the beast within him under control, of course…
