While I once did a take on the theme tune to the game show "Dog Eat Dog," it was the original British verison's theme. I finally got around to doing a simplified piano take on the American show's theme. Our version aired from 2002 to 2003 on NBC, and was hosted by Brooke Burns, with a guaranteed $25,000 given away on every show. The game is the same, though: six people compete to be the Top Dog by voting for an opponent they think is going to fail at a challenge. The one with the most votes must take the challenge on; fail, and they're sent to the Dog Pound, thereby eliminating themselves from the game. Succeed, and they can send somebody who voted for them in their place.

Whoever is Top Dog has the privilege of keeping the $25,000 all to themselves if they win it. If not, the five in the Dog Pound divide it evenly. To determine who wins, a general knowledge round is played, with the Top Dog nominating one person (and only one person) for each question based on a category. A correct answer from the chosen Dog Pound member scores the team one point, while a miss scores one point for the Top Dog. The first side to three points wins the cash.
