The hat was a bit of an awkward fit. Another concern is color scheme. The outfit also has pink so adding pink on pink can be a bit overwhelming compared to the balance from the neutral colors of human skin. But also dark magician girl's blonde hair really solidifies with color theme with the classic triad of primary colors yet every color appears in their lighter form. From red/yellow/blue to pink/blonde/light blue. Overall it becomes hard to pull off the outfit any better without having a blonde/tan character. But at the same time I get some people can like the extra pink or even the simplicity of 2 main dominant colors. But all of this is just what comes with the territory. Her personality and design philosophy already fits the dark magician girl pretty well so it works well enough hence getting it in the first place

Well not really. Most of it was just analyzing the character designs in general. In terms of making the outfit work for her, it was pretty much just making the hat fit, which did still take some serious consideration
