Newton on the Soulja Boy Console [REAL, NOT CLICKBAIT]
The actual drawing I did for @KingOfWishfulThinking@, with the joke drawing being in my Scraps tab. He showed off some of his methods with coloring and I tried applying it to my own work and style. I must say, I'm quite pleased with the results, as I think I was able to keep my lighting consistent and make the image feel like it has depth.
While King's characters draw inspiration from Digimon and MegaMan, I used a few of my inspirations with the Mario & Luigi RPG series, hence the capsules floating above him like the command blocks in the games. Originally, the console was going to be a Nintendo DS to further sell the idea, but then I remembered the Soulja Boy game console and found some of the concept art for it. Probably for the better, as the two screens would've thrown me off, I fear.
I'm always worried about how well I can handle the basics with stuff like perspective or lighting, so any feedback is always appreciated.
