Someone had the idea to catch Axl off-guard and strip him of his boots before burying him in the sand. Only his bare feet remain jutting out, and it seems being in his boots for so long has left them quite dirty as well. Did a Maverick leave him like this, or was it just a stranger with a twisted sense of humor? Who knows. Either way, Axl can't really do much other than wiggle his cute plump toes while boots sit beside him, the sunlight shining down on his dirty soles.
