I have a fun lil' story about Centaur Man's sprites.
when Make a Good Mega Man Level 3 finally released in 2024, naturally I wanted to adopt my skin I had made for MAGMML2 and 48hr for the project, but one of the biggest things that needed to be sprited out was custom Rush Bike sprites.
doing an actual motorcycle or ride chaser style vehicle didn't seem like it'd be a proper fit for Wishy Washy. I already used a SMB2 Pidgit carpet for Rush Jet, and I didn't wanna do like... more MLP stuff, so I landed on Wishy riding atop Centaur man.
The problem is that Centaur Man's sprites are gigantic and I had to do a lot of editing and compressing him to make it so he properly fit the hurtbox on Rush Bike and fit into the template. It was a fun lil' challenge, but I kinda had to scrunch his torso into the shoulder joints on the front legs.
