Arayan is another old OC that I felt needed some love. He's Kiesse's brother and while he's still in her story, his role has changed drastically. In the current iteration of the story, he's a close ally to Kiesse, a quiet bookworm who just never took to the lifestyle expected of his family of loud, proud warriors.

In older versions though, he was a warrior who'd seen too much too young, causing him to develop DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder). In a bit of an ironic twist, I was diagnosed with OSDD (Other Specified Dissociative Disorder) at the end of last year, which is in the same family as DID, and I would have likely never figured it out if it wasn't for Arayan and the research I did into DID/OSDD for his character. So, it felt kind of... fitting to draw him while I figure all this out.
