with Barstow behind me now, I was only towns away from Los Angeles the final stop on the route, it's just a matter of getting off I-40 now and turning left getting on I-15 and going South for a short distance before turning right onto I-10 which will then take me straight into Los Angeles
at last I made it to the final stop on my Route 66 journey, here pictured before you, the iconic Los Angeles Skyline, the finish line to my journey was not very far away, only a few minutes away, I just stay on I-10 heading for Santa Monica Blvd., waiting there for me?, the Santa Monica pier with the final view point and the final photo trophy spot, my journey is nearly over
