The great wars of nature reserves. Chapter Twelve: Captured and visiting.


The mysterious and white creature that snooped around and spied everywhere in farthing land, was who Big Bold thought - A female Stoat. She was the only and fast animal that probably gave the information to the Beast. She is like the weasels, but is also both afraid and cautious, she is terrified that some fox would find out about her mission and then capture her, like Lady Blue for example, although that was a very long time ago.

But now she is out and about again. She is one of the most agile and a bit cunning. But she knew she could get out of trouble, thanks to all the trees in the nature reserve. Not even the squirrels or the owls would spot a stoat in some of the other dense forests, especially not in winter. And just now she found out that all the animals in farthing land are going to have a special meeting in old Fox and old Vixen's big earth.

Almost everyone was gathered inside the big earth. Badgers - Hurkel and Shadow, the mole - Mossy, four hares - Dash, Bolt, Hasty and Chipper, two squirrels - Woody and Jester, and some rabbit families, voles, shrews and wood mice. Swift, Windy, Rebel and Whisper are also there. Weasel and her mate, Measly, have also come to the meeting, in addition to their fully grown cubs who are busy with their families.

But those who aren't there are a little late. Because they have experienced something that has caused part of the fox family to suffer from what is called anxiety and conscience. But old Vixen still knows that Scarlet and her four cubs will be there soon, as will the rat, Spike, who is also a little late. Outside the opening of the earth, the white stoat had arrived, she began to eavesdrop on their conversation.

Stoat: "I wonder what kind of meeting they have today this time."

Her head appears in the opening, she peeks down and looks at all the animals who are having a little conversation right now. But when Whisper has explained to old Fox and all the animals what she had met the other night, old Fox began to understand the connection.

Fox: "That explains why Friendly, Charmer and Ranger aren't here."

Vixen: "We all, in part, can see Big Bold in our subconscious. For those who think about him, and that's what I've suspected since I saw him the other night."

Whisper: "He said and believes it was a female stoat who was the traitor. She must have told the Beast something about Little Bold somehow, then made Big Bold not get his rest in heaven."

Fox: "That's entirely plausible. But if it's true, we have to get this female stoat."

Dash: "But how? It's winter and she's good at hiding."

Bolt: "Yeah, she's probably quick on her feet."

Windy: "Yes, of course she is, Bolt."

Swift also nodded in agreement, but also said a logical way for Bolt.

Swift: "But she is not as fast as the foxes and hares, Bolt."

Measly: ​​"Or the great cat."

Bolt: "Yeah, that's true."

Dash: "Speaking of truth, where are Owl and Hollow, anyway?"

Vixen: "They're out on a reconnaissance flight, along with Whistler and Perry."

Fox: "Yes, I asked them to fly around the area and scout for the Beast, as well as find out what the Silver Fox Clan is up to."

Hurkel: "I see. But how are we going to find this female stoat here in farthing land?"

Fox: "I don't know. She could be any where."

Weasel: "Yeah, right? As long as she's not out here spying on us right now. Hahaha..."

Windy: "Yeah, that would be a spectacle."

But outside Earth, female stoat had heard enough, she really doesn't like Weasel's joking statement and felt it was time to get out of there before she gets discovered. But when she got up and turned to run away, she was collided with Spike who was in such a hurry. Both she and the rat were lying on their backs in the snow and Spike just said.

Spike: "To play tag with the fox cubs, I can stand that, but this is ridiculous... Uhh!"

Rosa, Plucky and Scarlet's daughter, had just arrived and was about to put her right front paw on Spike and say "you are it", but stopped short and looked at what Spike had just bumped into. But when the white female stoat stood up and put her left hand on her head and stroked and wondered what happened, little Bold, Diamond, Valiant and Scarlet arrived.

Little Bold: "Did you take him, sister?!"

Scarlet: "You mustn't hurt him too badly, my cubs. Remember that Spike is Toad's closest friend."

Rosa: "Mom! Come here and look at what Spike has bumped into! A stoat!"

When everyone heard what Rosa was shouting about, all the animals were completely stunned. But old Fox's brow furrowed in anger and shouted.

Fox: "It's her - the traitor! Catch her!"

But the female stoat managed to recover and ran away from there, she had not expected that little Bold and his mother and three siblings would start chasing her. Even Spike recovered and got up and started helping, soon all the animals came out of Fox's den and started hunting for the traitor. But successfully capturing a stoat is not as easy as they had hoped.

In fact, she is a bit slimmer than the weasels and is good at hiding anywhere, especially when there are hundreds of trees in White Deer Park. All the animals, including the red foxes, had to split up to find their traitor. Swift ran quickly and searched through the dense forests, along with Rebel, Bolt and Hasty in his company. But the white female stoat somehow managed to escape with her life.

When she was sure that nothing was pursuing her anymore, she stopped for a moment and breathed out her exhaustion and looked back to see that nothing was after her anymore. But suddenly she heard a roar, a stag roar behind her back. When she turned around, she saw something that made her eyes widen, as if she had seen a ghost, then she screamed very loudly in panic.

Some animals still searching for the stoat heard her terrifying screams, soon they were all almost gathered. Swift, Rebel, Bolt and Hasty arrived at the shore of the ice lake, at the same time as Scarlet and her four cubs arrived there, as well as Hurkel, Shadow, Mossy and Spike. Before they could begin to wonder who was screaming, Diamond saw something and said.

Diamond: "Mom! Look there!"

Diamond pointed to her family and friends with her left front leg and paw, they saw a gray male fox coming and walking closer to them, and in his jaws he carried a fainted stoat. But just as Swift, Rebel, little Bold and Valiant were about to growl at the intruder, Silvia, Russet, Friendly, Ranger and Charmer appeared on the shore of the ice lake, Silvia was the one who stopped them and stood between them and the gray fox.

Silvia: "Don't hurt Covin! He's my mother's friend and he's really kind."

Little Bold: "Kind? How can he be a kind fox, Silvia? He's from the silver fox clan!"

Ranger: "That's right, Bold. But he has a kind heart like I have, he definitely has no intention of hurting anyone. Aren't I right!"

Covin stopped right in front of all the animals and nodded in agreement to Ranger, then he put the stoat down on the snow ground and said, quite honestly.

Covin: "That's right, Ranger. It's been a long time since we last saw each other."

Rebel: "You didn't kill the stoat, did you?"

Covin: "No, she was passed out when I found her."

Spike: "But she looks dead, I think."

Valiant: "She's asleep, maybe. Or what does my great-uncle, Friendly, think of that?"

Both Friendly and his sister, Charmer, calmly walked over and looked at the passed out stoat for a bit and were a little curious. They noticed that she was sleeping soundly, after she was scared in some way.

Friendly: "Valiant is right. She's asleep."

Charmer: "She must have seen something that made her faint."

Russet: "I agree with you, Charmer. Otherwise we wouldn't have heard that horrible scream either."

Mossy: "Worse than the terrible noise and screams of the weasels."

The little mole, Mossy, who is sitting on Hurkel's back, probably wouldn't have said that, especially not when both Weasel and Measly had just arrived, and the two couples were staring a little offended at Mossy's statement. Mossy grinned goofily.

Shadow: "But their high pitched voices aren't as loud as stoat's anyway."

Shadow said with some positive consolation. Everyone agreed with her statement, until Swift asked seriously about Covin.

Swift: "What are you doing here and why have you come here, anyway?"

Covin: "Something very serious has happened that I must speak to the famous Fox of farthing wood. And it is absolutely important. It concerns your lives and the future of farthing land, of course."

When everyone looks at Covin and his honest gaze, some of them realized that he was telling the truth. Meanwhile, both Owl and Hollow fly through the air really high, until they approached the silver fox clan's territory. There they saw that several of the twelve fox troop have a certain meeting, along with two senior officers - Blaze and Silver.

Hollow: "It was the worst thing I've ever seen! So many of blue and gray foxes down there. Do you think they're going to attack, Owl?"

Owl: "I don't know, and we can't hear their conversations either."

Hollow: "Why not?"

Owl: "Because then their only bodyguard will make mincemeat of us. Do you understand?"

Hollow: "You're right. The beast is too sneaky and cunning, we can't take any chances either."

Both Owl and Hollow decided instead to return to farthing land and tell everything to old Fox and his family. But how will things go, and what will Covin have to tell old Fox and all the animal friends in farthing land? And above all, who scared the female stoat? You'll all know that next time.
