I must say I don't quite understand this concept? And that might just be ignorance on my part. But I'm actually not familiar with what exactly this is?

I'm unsure which part you might be confused on, but basically what it is is the person in the headshot is inside of the plushsuit! So it's almost like an x-ray view of the head so to speak and whoever is inside was most likely zipped in and is now stuck there in a comfortable plush suit!
