It's the psyker, the grand prize for all parties. Tiberius is after her to ensure she's safe and is not used by malevolent forces or radical forces. Gareth is using her to bring down the United Terran Federation as a mean for revenge for what happened on the planet Ares. Ivonne and Alisha (They'll be back) is after her for the final piece of the sacrifice of Costa Esmeralda to finally have their own bodies (Think of the sacrifice as the Eclipse from Berserk), and obtaining ultimate power. So Tiberius is right about one thing. A storm is coming.

Holy shit. This is one big side story to the main one. Sit down and think about this: At the beginning of the story, Tiberius was hired by Zang and Bras to investigate Daao's partnership with the "Benefactor", and figure out a strategy to cease their operation. Then later along doing side quests of freeing Hilda, protecting Karine, etc (We'll come back to Alma's kids in the final arc and a short story in between arc 3 and 4), Tiberius discovered his old friend from his legion days is alive and is a radical who is going to destroy the capital of the Federation for revenge for what happened on Ares, by using an unsanctioned high level psyker. Then Tiberius discovered the women that ruined his life and murdered his first wife are back from the dead and now a demon (or umbran) and they're looking for the psyker to finally perform the mass sacrifice of Costa Esmeralda, so they can be free from one another.

To make matters worse, Tiberius' action of killing 3 innocent people, almost killing a child, and forced to leave Dasha behind at the mercy of Daao and his gang is getting to him, that will likely cloud his judgement in the upcoming battle. Plus Gareth knows that Tiberius has found him and it's preparing for the attack, also his loyalties to the Benefactor seems a bit.... non-existent and is planning ahead in case Tiberius wins or fails.

Well, time to take a break, work on commissions I've put off, and other things. Then the real work can begin. Porting weapons, armour, and other assets for the story, then work on the final arc of the story.... Oh dear sweet fucking Christ
