Zitra is no stranger to combat, as her many scars and battered armor highlight - for a little over a decade now, her tribe has been getting regularly harassed by foreign mercenaries not native to her homeland of Koshavak, seemingly hired for the sole purpose of displacing her people and claiming their old stomping grounds on behalf of their mysterious benefactor. So far, these thugs-for-hire have managed to wipe out all of the unicorn tribes in this otherwise autonomous region and drive them from their homes... except one.

The Juzni Hill tribe has held the line against these outsiders for years, and Zitra is a pretty big reason as to why - bigger, stronger, and tougher than most of her brethren, coupled with her love of a good fight, it's not hard to see how she came to be their top warrior. Here we see her celebrating yet another victory, posing proudly with her hoof atop the helm of a bested foe for all to see! With how well and how long she's been able to successfully fight them off, one can only wonder if "defeat" is even in her vocabulary?

First SFW commission of 2026! Yes, if you can believe it, I actually had another chance to commission ZarlandRex! Having been really satisfied with how he did my dragons back in 2024 (and yes, I still am pretty pleased with how that pic looks even now), I had hoped to one day get him to draw my unicorn character once I finalized her design. And as luck would have it, I managed to catch wind of him opening commissions one day shortly before I had to begin my shift at work. Knowing how quickly his slots fill up when he does open, I made sure to jump on that opportunity while I could! No regrets there!

I sure do love the pose and expression Zarland gave Zitra here - I only gave him a basic idea of what I wanted, citing another pic he did as an example of what I had in mind, but he nailed it quite well here! Real glad I managed to get another chance to commission that guy! Hopefully you'll all enjoy the pic as much as I did!
