my last monday at my old job. man it felt crazy depressing.
i couldn't stop thinking about how great things were right when the job had started, and how i was so lucky that everyone in the team got along so well and we worked together pretty seamlessly.
This visual of the broken swing ocurred to me as an apt analogy. A broken swing just don't swing the same no more.
My job this day felt essentially the same way. All the work dynamic and the work equipment is there all the same, but it don't feel the same without any of the people. i guess it didn't help that it was just me and doberman coworker at this last stage of my employment.

Still, i was at least looking forward to my next job and trying not to get too bogged down in the depressing sensation of this old one.
I suposse it was a good thing i was feeling this way. If it had been a job I had completely detested, I would've been elated for it to be over.
It had ben a good thing, and now it had ended with everyone jumping ship. I just happened to be one of the last ones to get out.
