I've been inspired by Ion's idea to add a little story along with the art of our characters, I feel like it's a very nice touch and adds more depth to the picture. I'm no writer by any means and it's not as easy for me to do as english is not my main language, but I wanted to give it a go ^^
The spirits of the dead are frozen in time, they wander through the gray world of Limbo, restless and having forgotten themselves. No one knows why some of them instantly forget who they were, while others lose their memories gradually one by one. Their thoughts, dreams, hopes, aspirations, fears and worries are like a handful of sand that you hold in your palm and the grains keep slipping through the fingers, no matter how hard you try to hold onto them.
At first, Leva and Marco tried to make contact with these inhabitants of Limbo, hoping to meet others like themselves who had not lost their humanity or their sanity. But all their attempts ended in failure, and not wanting to take unnecessary risks, they decided to stay away from the spirits. When they would notice a lonely figure in the distance, they took a different route or waited for them to wander away. However, one day they failed to avoid it.
It was a quiet night and Leva was sleeping peacefully in the tent when suddenly her whole body felt like it was pierced by an electricity. Eyes wide open, she froze in terror, unable to move. A shadow slipped past Leva, and out of the corner of her eye, she saw long black fingers grasp her wrists before it descended right in front of her and darkness engulfed everything. She wanted to scream, to break free, but her whole body was entangled in this darkness, it was seeping inside and filling everything within with icy cold. She tried to take a breath, but it was squeezing on her throat. And then came a quiet whisper, each word piercing her mind with pain, as if some evil will was tearing her apart from within. Leva didn’t know how long the shadow held her in its embrace, whispering things better left unknown to any living being.
Gradually, both the pain and the cold seemed to become blurred distant spots somewhere in the depths of her consciousness. And warmth. She felt warmth again.Someone's hand wrapped around her waist, and Leva felt herself pressed against something warm and soft. Her mind finally broke free from oblivion. She opened her eyes and a bright light hit her face. Squinting and blinking, she looked around in fear. Next to her stood a lit lamp and its bright light flickered softly, illuminating everything around. There was no shadow. Marco leaned over Leva, pressing her limp body close to his chest, gently stroking her back,
- What was that? - his frightened eyes looked at her, - I thought I felt something, but as soon as I turned on the light, I swear I saw... a shadow slip behind the canopy.

Its wonderful to see us making a story together and I know in the future we have more picture that tell a lot more. Your style in the picture i find to be perfect with the mood of the story too, it really a nice touch and thought you put behind it all.

I'm glad that you like it honey, and I want to draw more and finish all the art I have of them so we can keep on building their story ^^ Maybe I should start reading more books in english too so I can write better instead of translating what I'd written in russian xD
Thank you for encouraging me to follow myself in art, it does feel better to paint and not worry how polished or "finished" it supposed to be and just go with how I feel. Love you too and I think it's great that we can both inspire each other. <3
