I just want to feel like what I thought my normal would be. I want to be people’s first choice, the one they go to for comfort and to relax with.
I just can’t keep being the convenient sidekick for everyone else’s self absorptions. I can’t keep being the quiet one who never complains.
I deserve to take up space and for my feelings and desires to matter.
If Im expected to act like that for everyone else, how dare anyone tell me I can’t do the same without scorn.
