He believes people should be able to depend on something in this world, and everyone should know what hope feels like.
Having said that, he has no real super powers to speak of, other than maybe a ridiculous amount of luck. Which comes in handy, as he's extremely over-the-top and clumsy to boot, which causes more trouble than is rightly necessary.
Despite all that, he's always willing to risk it all to save the day.
Many find him quite annoying to be around, specially when he won't shut up about his adventures and heroics, but he is actually a pretty good pilot, so he's the only other person that Kashyll will allow to fly the ship.
As naïve as he may be, he is the driving force that keeps the crew together.
His parents named him after the famous Mexican president, Benito Juárez, from back in the 1800s.
