Not quite pertinent to this page and its' arc, but seeing Lucas in human form again... does anyone age? As in canonically, beyond the progression of plot. I suppose it doesn't really matter for him now storywise, but having followed this comic for so long, the passage of time feels somehow germane.

Best to think of it as holidays being there as a matter of courtesy, and then everything else follows its own rules and time only passes if the stories say or imply so. A single Halloween party is told over ten pages. Lukas's whole arc with being whisked away to take his exams and the gang getting together at the castle, all that happens over a matter of a couple of days. We're also at a point now where so many of the main cast aren't human and don't even *need* to 'age' at all. If you really want an explanation that would fit, everyone gets transformed all the time anyway, which requires rewriting their DNA, which by itself would determine how they end up aging.
