"And you thought I was going to strip you of your muscles, didn't you?" A bear appeared in the room and laughed. "No, buddy, you've shown that you're willing to sacrifice yourself for your friends. And for that, you get such a reward."
"But it's not canon," hedgehog was embarrassed.
"I think it's better this way," John said stubbornly. "Therefore, Mary has been returned to you in a new body... and with a new age."
… Can I become her boyfriend?" the hedgehog asked uncertainly, looking at his girlfriend.
"I'm twenty-two years old now," the girl laughed, "I don't see any obstacles."
"Me too, Mary, me too," Shadow whispered and kissed her, feeling like his heart was about to break his ribs. He had dreamed of it so much, and now what had seemed like a dream had become reality. What could be better than this?
"Well, I guess I'm not needed here," John giggled and teleported back to the island, while Shadow gently led Maria to the cafeteria. He will definitely make her world a happy one, and himself her husband and protector.
