Frog Girl Render Practice 2
Here's some more practice on rendering my frog girl! I don't have a name for this dame yet, but 'ey, that's nothin' new. I'm just bad at naming things.
Making this one was a little bit weird. So I actually drew this in clip studio, colored it in krita, and shaded it back in clip studio. I wasn't the most satisfied with the spray tool in Clip studio for the smoothness in the color gradients I was wanting on my characters, so I wanted to try krita's airbrush tool or its blending brushes and see how that worked. It went... alright? I don't think I started with a dark enough green to be able to have the range I wanted. But it is possible it's just a skill issue on my part. I've never really used krita before, and like I've said before I haven't been drawing anthros for very long.
Just like all my other experiments, I'm happy I tried it. I'll keep playing with this budding frog design in the meantime. She's cute, and I wanna hash out her head shape a bit better so it's easier for me to draw.
