(OPEN)🍀Luck Dragon OTA Adopts🐈⬛
Heyo Everyone!
St. Patrick's Day is gunna be here soon enough, and it gave me the idea for some dragon adopts based off of both good and bad luck! And in a lot of different cultures, cats can be seen as both good or bad luck.
🍀For the Good Luck Dragon, I was heavily inspired by your typical Irish influences like gold and green being used in a lot of Luck Symbols. But then, I was inspired by the Maneki Neko seen in a lot of Japanese folktales. And I gave them calico like patterns as while most of the Lucky Cats seem to be either white or calico, the patters also resemble koi fish, another symbol of luck and strength!
🐈⬛For the Bad Luck Dragon, I went with a more predictable theme of Black Cats and Crows being seen as unlucky. But with a few hidden symbols too. For one, the bells, jewelry, and horn tips are made of mirrors like materials that can break, as broken mirrors are seen as unlucky. There is also some very small light speckles on the arms and tail, meant to invoke the idea of spilled salt, another unlucky symbol!
