Bomberman 64 somehow still holds a kinda hidden unequivocal craziness to it that has never left me since touching it first in 1997. Just the way you ha to navigate the world in a brand new early 3d dizzying way, the bounce on bombs to solve puzzles and get into some unassuming alcove and you may never even realize is a thing until you fully beat it once, the crazed multiplayer that never lets up. Even the commerical was a hilariously unhinged parody of spiderman.
And yeah a few other things can smash you into a perfect overhead circle like a giant purple lantern/angler fish!
