Back at Eurofurence last year, my wonderful friend Verdie started up a new event - The Smash or Pass Tournament! Pitching 32 characters together in a no-kinks-barred single-elimination tournament bracket, we got the audience to vote on who they thought was the most Smashable.
And then, when that went so well, we did it at NFC too - with all new characters, all new stage, and this time, Verdie wanted all-new portraits for the hosts!
And here's the Co-Host - me! Some characters require smooth reflexes and deft memory. Others are easy to use, but have secret combos for high-level play. And there's DV - built for your younger sibling to button mash. Oh well. They're having fun!
