Pittering, pattering
Falling down like rain,
Downfalls, deaths, defeats
Pushing away the future
Forcing the past upon us
like clouds covering the sun
storm clouds drawing near
the rain and wreckage
left behind that although
we may try to hide
it always brings us back.
Facing foes is part of life
So why not do it now?
Stand up for yourself
though you may fall down
you'll always get back up
just like the clouds and the rain.
