Ceres got herself a new outfit courtesy of Ki! Looks like she fancies herself in it quite a bit!
A gorgeous lil piece done by my wife
Kinara! Ceres is my favourite child, she is too gorgeous to ignore I fear
I also wrote a short little companion piece; allowing our android beauty to start getting in on some further action!
Ceres’ delicate fingers danced over a holographic reading, a frustrated sigh punctuating the silence she sat in.
“This isn’t adequate…not nearly enough.”
She swept her hand through the projection, cycling through schematics and blueprints, details of materials and fibres, intricate and over the top breakdowns of costs, efficiencies and resources. Her brow furrowed, golden eyes scanning back and forth through the readouts.
“If we want to go here…then we need…” Her voice trailled off, only to pick up at her next thought “And Ki…she’d…” She paused for a moment to tap a finger to her ice-blue lips, thinking to herself. “I suppose I could come up with the credits…”
She returned to the projection, a small smile on her lips signifying she was satisfied with whatever plan she had just come up with.

“What!?” London balked at the figures in front of him, his own golden eyes darting between his companion and the readout she had presented him with. “You ran every single calculation, pre-empted every little detail, and the next expedition is going to cost THIS much?”
Ceres leaned towards London, shifting the figures to the next set with a stern look. “You’re the one who wants to plumb the Formidine Rift. We’ll need to upgrade a lot of our external systems and stock up on supplies for a significant stretch of time.” She sighed as she heard a grumble come from London. “Yes, I know you don’t want to change her completely, but The Luminary isn’t fit to travel within Rifts. Even without any upgrades, she could at least go in for some intensive maintenance.”
“Ugh, it’s always money Ceres...and stupid lines of questioning from engineers when they discover half the equipment isn’t entirely Imperium Standard…”
The synthetic jackal stood straight, crossing her arms. “Then we go elsewhere for our refit.”
London raised an eyebrow, leaning his elbows on the table. “...Go on.”
“I looked into this on my own…but there’s an outpost we can reach sitting on the border of fox space. It’s one of those old Asteroid bases, however…” She stepped to cycle the projection across again, revealing the details of the base in question. “This one is remarkably developed. It appears to be a hub for explorers and other sorts…with no Imperial presence whatsoever.”
“Then I’m guessing…it’s full of Itansha?” London questioned, looking back to Ceres. She answered with a small nod. The Itansha were an isolated group of female kitsune, wholly different to the more animalistic denizens of the Imperium like Ceres and London. Itansha busied themselves with their own exploration and trade with the fringes of the Imperium, but often dabbled in less than legal affairs. “We could fit ourselves with their tech and then Rift exploration would become a breeze.”
London now nodded, chuckling to himself. “I think I know how you’re going to get us the credits, then.” He swiped the projection himself, landing on a series of names with prices attached. “So we’re going to be bounty hunting for the vixens?”
Ceres nodded, a confident smile on her lips. “It would be a nice change of pace for the next few months, at least. We can take our time aboard the outpost, allow The Luminary to sit in dock while we utilise one of their craft to track down the bounties you see here.”
Despite their mechanical nature, London could see a gleam in Ceres’ eyes. It made him smile to see her clearly excited by her own suggestion. “This isn’t a proposal, Ceres. I can tell you’ve already made all the arrangements.”
The android’s cheek flushed slightly, and she answered sheepishly. “I may have…and I might have al–”
Ceres’ words were cut off by a glow enveloping her body, and a familiar pink-furred snow leopard appearing beside her holding a small PDA. “She was so excited London, it was kinda cute.” Ki giggled, as an entirely new outfit materialised on Ceres as the glow faded.
The sleek pearl-coloured suit matched Ceres perfectly. The material bore a sheen in the light, accentuating the android’s figure and framing her in stunning fashion. “Y-yes, I might have asked your wife to make me a new suit for the ocassion…”
“Damn girl, it came out better than I thought!” Ki remarked as she eyed Ceres in her latest creation. “You’re gonna kick some ass in this suit!”
London chuckled, taking in the android. “Damn is right! Ki always nails the brief!”
Ceres blushed at the praise, beaming as she took it all in. “It does feel pretty great.” She stretched, noting the range of movement she still had. “It may be a little alluring, but it’s exactly what I’m comfortable in.”
She looked at London with renewed confidence, determination in her eyes. “I put the cart before the horse, but I’d like to be the boots on the ground this time around. I’m hoping for your blessing. Am I correct in believing I already have it?”
“You absolutely do Ceres.” London replied, nodding with a smile. “I know you, and what you’re capable of. You just let me know what Ki and I need to do in the background.”
“Then it’s time for me to do some hunting.” Ceres purred, all too pleased with her own personal fit-out.
