Just a little greyscale thing I did a bit back in a lower moment. It was a nice bit of practice to see how I could continue to imply my meows colours in a greyer world. I could probably write some esoteric nonsense to put here but, honestly it's the kind of thing that's just personal. I always feel greater clarity at night. I like looking out over water, and spent a lot of low moments when I was younger staring out at the ocean watching the waves at night - perhaps that's why I always associate the darkness as both being comforting but also a place to acknowledge difficulty?

That's really cool honestly. I have evocative moments and memories of pretty spaces in games I've just... dawdled in as well - there's so many beautiful sights hidden in places like that that most people just pass by, I think there's in turn a nice.. valour in appreciating the effort and whimsy that goes into those :>
I was blowing through Bloodborne's bosses and areas when I first played, because I had previously played so many souls games I practically knew what I was doing from the start. But when I got to Bergenwerth, that lake quite literally stopped me in my tracks, it was just so hauntingly beautiful I couldn't NOT sit down and just, stare.
After that I started a new playthrough and went slowly through each area to take in more of the sights, there are SO many beautiful places hidden in that blood-soaked nightmare.
