He was about to strike me down when I used my own power to land a point-blank paralyzer pulse on him. It didn't entirely stop him, but it did take him off-guard since C3's like me are not supposed to have this power, and he released his grasp over me.
I was still on the ground, but with the wielder standing over me. A shot then ran out. It was Lily, and in the wielder's moment of disorientation, it landed. Piercing his abdomen as he was unable to shield himself in time.
As he tried to regain his footing, I started dashing towards the energy cannon. He steadied himself, blood flowing steady out of his wound, and his eyes glowing brighter than before.
